Transliterate Ottoman Turkish into Latin script
Choose academic transliteration with İSAM marks or simplified spelling, then review the result against the Ottoman source.
Transliteration changes the writing system while retaining Ottoman words. The İSAM and simplified options use different marks. Rendering the meaning in modern Turkish is a translation task.

How to use it
- Upload the Ottoman source and choose a readable sample page.
- Select İSAM for academic marks or simplified transliteration for fewer diacritics.
- Check proper names, long vowels and uncertain readings before exporting.
İSAM and simplified transliteration
The İSAM profile uses marks such as ā, ī, ū and ʿ, ʾ. Simplified transliteration uses the Turkish alphabet with â, î, û. Neither option is intended to modernize the vocabulary.

Historical spelling, rare words and manuscripts can require expert review. Using İSAM conventions does not imply endorsement or an institutional partnership.
