Translate your documents into a target language
Translate OCR text or Word and Markdown documents, review the result and export an editable file.
Document translation is a separate operation from OCR and transliteration. The current target options are listed below. The three interface languages do not limit the available translation targets.
Updated:
How to use it
- Choose an OCR text or upload a Word or Markdown source.
- Select source and target languages and a service level, then confirm the displayed cost.
- Compare the translation with the source, correct terminology and export Word or Markdown.
Consistency across a document
When using the academic document translation profile, review proper names, citations, footnotes and specialist terms. OCR errors can carry into a translation, so check recognized text first when working with scans.
Review your results
Translation produces a draft. Passages where meaning is critical and specialist terminology should be reviewed by someone familiar with the source language.

Frequently asked questions
Can I translate a scanned PDF?
Extract its text with OCR first, then run translation. Word and Markdown text can be used directly as translation sources.
Is this Ottoman transliteration?
Transliteration changes the writing system to Latin letters. Translation renders the content in the selected target language.
